I picked up and completed the first sonic the hedgehog game. I played it for countless hours from 5-10 and was never able to complete it. I did it last night in three hours. it felt good.

any one else get a similar nostalgia moment recently?

I recently got another N64 and a ton of games. I'm currently reliving all my past gaming. Same with the SNES a while ago. I finally beat Earthbound, having played that game on and off for most of my childhood.

I love sonic every time I play reminds me of being a kid.
I think I own sonic 1 on every type of console you can get it for.
I downloaded sonic spinball a few days ago on my iPhone too.

Not recently, but when I was little, I played the Aladdin game on The super nintendo and could never beat it without the help of my cousin. a couple of years ago, I picked it up again, and beat it. it was pretty awesome! oh! and also... I still haven't beat ocarina of time yet to this day... so shameful....

I haven't beat a Legend of Zelda game since the SNES/Gameboy(Link's awakening is the last one I beat(if that's the one where he's on the island in a dream with Marin). All that despite owning every zelda game since EXCEPT windwaker(walker?). Never bought that one because I can't stand that particular art style. haven't even played TP yet.

I remember seeing that at the theater when I was like 18 or 19 I think. Can't remember exactly when it came out.

I'm not very prone to nostalgia. I don't care about living in the past nor do I feel very affectionate toward things just because I enjoyed them in my childhood.

The reasons I play Sonic and other older games still is because they are still very fun for me to play.
