So my current follower is Erik the Slayer, who uses two-handed weapons, and I want to get him a nice and shiny Dawnguard Warhammer so he'll somewhat look like me with my two Dawnguard Waraxes. I just started Prophecy and haven't done any side quests for Sorine or Gunmar. I'm far enough to where Gunmar sells Dawnguard armor and Sorine taught me how to make crossbows.

I looked on the wiki and it said that there's 2 in Fort Dawnguard but I haven't been able to find either of them. I was wondering if I need to do more quests so the fort will be more renovated for the warhammers to spawn. Thanks.

From inside Ft. Dawnguard, go up the spiral staricases (there are several of them) to the the doors that says Dayspring Canyon. This will give you access to the towers of the fort. In one of the tower you will find the Dawnguard warhammer (and crossbows, steel bolts, gauntlets, boots, and war axes). The items are spread out in different towers so you will have to try all the stairs.

I looked there too and didn't see any warhammers :\ I did see the waraxes and crossbows though.

Hmm, when I get home I have to see how far I am in the DG quest. It may only appear after a certain point.

Ok, I just looked in my weapons chest and there's a DG Warhammer. My quests journal shows Chasing Echoes, and Seeking Disclosures as active. Serana's been waiting for me by the docks for at least a month now. I already got the Dragon Scroll but haven't even started Bleak Falls Barrow.

I remembered after she said I will be waiting by the docks I went looking around and found the warhammer. I'm at lvl 47, hopefully this have no impact on whether the warhammer will appear or not.

There is a warhammer on the top of the fort in the big open area near the grindstone. You will also find a DG shield there as well and some DG boots. The spiral stair case is on the left side of the entrance.

Before recruiting Sorine and Gunmar you can find: boots, gauntlets, helmets, warhammers, axes, and bolts and a shield. There is no armor laying around. Be sure to look all around the fort. Go to each tower and the roof. Make sure you get every bolt you can. There won't be any more until you get Sorine and you can't make any until then either.

I just verified that's another one if you take the right spiral staircase. Enter Dawnguard, take a righ and another right and go up the stairs.

I found it sometime yesterday but couldn't get on the forums :S I still wish there were greatsword and sword variants of the DG weapons :C

Edit: Found it on one of the towers in the Dayspring cell. I must've missed it because it was laying in the middle of the floor, instead of near or on the weapon racks.
