Early this morning, Mexican drug gangs have taken over 2 ranches in Texas...near Laredo. Just mentioning it...

Oh, yeah, like that's a big surprise. You could have a whole thread dedicated to daily updates on drug gang violence in Mexico.

EDIT: oh, wait in Texas? Well, it isn't war because it's a bunch of criminals.

And I want an article/source.

Good luck with that.

I remember one occasion here in Finland where one random farmer claimed his farmland as his own nation.
Soon the Army came and made an "Assault" against this rouge nation. Casualties, Zero.

There's already been a war between drug cartels and El Paso authorities for the past few years now. MS13 influence is also spreading virulently in southern and western Texas.

The story isn't criticizing Liverpool football fans... so probably not.

I look on the comments on that page and stated this has already proven false. Doesn't look very reliable , just have to wait to see what the mods will do to this thread.

My understanding is an act of war is perputated by one nation-state against another, not criminal elements. So I agree with the posters wondering if the OP works for a tabloid.

I dunno if I'd call this an "Act of War" since Los Zetas or any other drug cartel isn't a nation themselves ... unless they said this was an increased act on the "War on Drugs" rather than just an "Act of War", than I'd be more inclined to follow them. As for my solution: Just send a couple more Marines in to snuff them out. Or, just let the border patrol guys handle it?

North Korea is BEST Korea.

And justin Beiber is going there too.
Adding into the topic I goggled "mexican drug gangs invade USA" and got http://www.resistnet.com/forum/topics/mexican-drug-cartel.
The site looks a little fishy though.

It looks like a far right wing (lunatic side) conspiracy page. These people give republicans a bad name, alas, the majority of the Texas GoP are these people. :(

That site looks a little more than just fishy, Fishy. :P

Seriously, I haven't found anything on this on CNN, MSNBC, or anything else. Even NPR, just to see if I could. Probably a hoax, and by looking at that site given by you, I'm gonna take a wild guess on which side of the line it came from. :whistling:

I didn't mean that to come out politically, just a truthful observation, I would post exactly what the Texas GoP's new platform is (it will make you cringe) but then Mr. Bear would eat me and turn me into poop. I'm surprised this thread is still alive at all, the very topic is political.
