Why are your teammates (Or whoever it is) say "Sniper! Activate your armor" when snipers ignore armor?

Also, it yells "Sniper!" everytime I shoot aswell. Same for you?

Quite the choice I say. The most combat effective is DSG while the Gauss is by far more fun.

I wish gauss headshots still had the same effect as in Crysis - sending the target flying through the air (usually with their arms and legs outstretched in a star shape).

I think its cos ur not using a silencer that they say that.
and gauss svcks its almost no different from DSG1
they need to be at or below half energy to get a ones shot kill body shot.
the guass was a beast in crysis 1 now its svcks they acctualy made it worse. Its sooo retated !!!!!!

Well yeah DSG-1 might be better on paper, but not in my hands, I usually have 3 k/d when playing with my Gauss and I never camp, usually end up with atleast 15 kills. Even tho it's not 1-shotkill you either hurt him real bad or hit the 2nd shot aswell, no biggie, but most of the times they are already hurt anyway so they die.

DSG 1 until they increase the Gauss damage by 5.

The best is always a silenced sniper, so i pick the DSG-1. Then, and only then, can you snipe without being heard by EVERY player on the map. Another thing about sniping is to not camp, but know good places on the map your playing to snipe from and alternate between them after every shot you take...works for me
