I can't say that I'll miss Guitar Hero, but I was somewhat looking forward to the new True Crime.

Well, there's the big share driven market for you.

Good for business, not good for innovation or creativity.

Exactly. Innovation is risky, most shareholders don't like risk.

Not a big surprise, really. It's already a revamped and rebranded game that was supposed to be very different. Probably a money sink.

Activision has become what they beheld when the founders started the company.

This is why I hate Activision. They are now only focusing on their big franchises. Argg, why are they #1?

*Cries*

No, really, I'm [censored] teary eyed right now. I was looking forward to True Crime almost as much as I'm looking forward to Skyrim. Activision just [censored] canceled Skyrim in my eyes.

Hate... hate... hate... hate... hate... hate...

Thank you Activision, thank you for murdering one of my favorite childhood videogame series, resurrecting it's corpse several years later, teasing me for more than a year with a new installment, then murdering the series all over again.

[censored] you.

Shame to see GH go like this, should have been allowed to die with dignity long ago.

One day CoD will die, and where will you be then, Acti? Up [censored] creek without a paddle is where.

Where will they turn when CoD is dying? Because I mean, people can only buy the same game so many times ... right?

Also yes I agree GH should have died a long time ago, I didn't even know they were still making them after Rockband 2 to be honest. I didn't care for True Crime anyway though so I can't say that I'll mourn its passing.

Stupid Activision.

This is why people hate them more than EA now.

They're gonna be left with nothing at this rate. Just WoW chugging along.

Sorry to hear that my friend, True Crime was one of my favorite videogame series as well, and it died again for the sake of more Call of Duty.

If Activision's policy is going to remain "cancel games and series that don't have the potential to make as much money as Call of Duty," I look forward to their inevitable deaths when that series stops being so popular.
