I completely agree but I put it into terms such as "point - counter point" to get my message across.

I see this simply becoming an option in the options menu of the game if they want to appease both ends of the see-saw.

Hm. Because I think none of them, at all, are advantageous. That none of them should be banned. Where does that put us?

FYI- I never said they were advantageous in my link. He just said that addons don't exist.

What? That doesn't say people should be banned for using addons. It simply illistrates the point that not everything in the game is considered ok, nor should be considered ok. If I wanted people who used addons to be banned I would had directly said so. Which would be stupid since I plan on using addons.

Knowledge is power. Knowing something your opponent does not is an advantage. An addon that give you information that your opponent does not have is an advantage. that is pretty much teh very definition of what an advantage is.

no your putting words in my mouth. I'm not calling for anything being banned. add-ons should not provide information that is not available with the vanilla ui.

They're out of magicka? I knew that when they stopped flinging spells. They're out of stamina? I knew that when they couldn't sprint after me.
I know when to block? There's an option in the settings. Know when to interrupt? There's also and option in the settings for that?

I can imagine someone writing a custom addon which will visually or aurally tell players to "Dodge left" or "Dodge right" or "Block!" or "Pop a health potion now!" Just one step away from crossing the line over into botting.

Oh yeah I strongly support quality of life improvements to the game and agree completely with what we were told by Zeni.

I knew what these contained so just ignored the comment along with alot of others from other people so we could focus on the job at hand.

There is nothing in the addons that you couldn't tell for yourself. Nothing. Addons can only decipher information that's already there, and if you observe, you can see everything the add on tells you.

That about sums up every experience I've had with you.
