Not so much that it is there, but more that it is so much more obvious that it could be advantageous.

And if you followed the dev tracker last beta they stated they were looking into the UI business because a lot want it. You seem to think the majority don't even them lame polls on here showed otherwise just because a few of you keep posting again and again it will not change that fact.
Given the interrupt thing which is in options its a moot point, having something advise you when to dodge or block makes a timer pointless i didn't even know about this till ithril said.
A lot of people want a lot of things. They have said that they are looking into a lot of things. I guarantee you that most of the things they are looking into won't change or be added. Nothing I have asid about that has anything to do with teh majority, minority or polls. Just the simple fact that looking into something does not mean it would be put in.
Again, the mod is much much more obvious seeing as it can be brightly collored, moved to where you simply cannot miss it, etc.
Red ones are all default. The green one, well, I don't understand this one.
There is a native interrupt option in the menu iirc.
So? placing it where you want is just personal preference. Many games allow that so i don't see the issue with zeni allowing it. And yes zeni say alot which is why you must take the "break the mold" speech with a pinch of salt.
I actually don't care if there are addons.
I know that's hard to believe but it doesn't affect me either way.
People's pushiness about things just make me want to argue against them.
Obviousness plays into difficulty and advantages and disadvanatges. WAR had entire skills rendered useless just because an addon made the debuffs they caused much much more obvious.
Like buffs and debuffs not cast on target player by you can see if person has used a potion. It displays all active interaction between players ..
You know what?
I have figured this out.
This is a giant conspiracy by the evil pve crowd to turn us pvp players into NPCs. Since the end game is pvp and the pve content locusts know they will burn through the real pve content in record time they plan to reduce us to complex npcs that will provide never ending pve content to feed their insatiable appetites.
The next pvp mod will have us dropping loot/gear to create the gear grind that they will be missing.
The truth is out there (*insert the x-files music here)
