add-ons that provide players with information that is not available via the vanilla UI are not ok. players should not be forced to use add-ons to stay competitive.
look up prx eso. top video. ie7 wont let me paste [censored] here.

My disappointment is available though.
try now. look up prx eso on you tube top video.
Well I disagree with the mindset that if you don't want it the rest of us can't have it... However, If you don't want it then fine...
just search prx eso on youtube its the top video,
anyway the addon tells you everything about your enemy. what spells they have on their action bar, how much hp/magik/stam they have, when they start casting, how long til their channel ends, everything.
Please don't start crying about this. There's enough of that on the beta forums. The only things users can see are what ZOS has allowed them to see in the API, nothing more. If you don't want to use mods, don't.
I believe they've already stated that modding the UI (as long as it meets their standards or whatever) is ok.
All I see in the video - that is not readily available in the standard UI - are the buffs/debuffs on the opponent ... and the ability to position the HP/Magick/Stam info bars.
I honestly don't think those are gamebreakers.
you do realize that we are not talking about wow right? just because one game does certain things does not mean that those things should be standard across all games. or you just want to play another wow clone?
No issue with the numbers and changing the way the ui looks. I just have an issue with it giving information not available to the default ui (target stamina and magicka) and making interrupts, blocks, dodges much much more obvious (both straight up advantages over the base ui). Those are the only two things I have a straight up issue with. The name of the cast I could swing either way with.
If they can track it, then its easy to find out their entire skill bar over time which you may or may not have direct combat with. Which gives a huge advantage overtime in PvP if you know the entire skill bar a person is using.
its not about wanting mods or not. it's about having to use an addon to stay competitive. this information provided in this add on is not provided by the vanilla ui. players should not be forced to use addons.
You don't. They don't give nearly the advantage you think they do. A bad player will still be a bad player with or without them.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jZuUcW8a2cQ <-- or click here. I have it saved and downloaded
Was waiting for this, seriously its not cheating, its not gamebreaking those who want to be competitive should learn to use the aspects of the mods they want those that don't they will have fun just the same, People say its gamebreaking in pvp in Cyrodiil it will matter even less the amount of people involved in combat and spells flying everywhere won't make a difference to someone with a mod or not they still die. The end result is the same
We should have tom-tom encryption in our software that speeds up the time it takes to decode their skill bars, so that we can find out where they live and toilet paper their pumpkins on Halloween too.. Jeezzzz...
