the problem is though, i really svck at making new objects in blender. i've downloaded some free meshes of guns but i need to put arrowbones in them for them to work right. now, i've compiled quite a few mods out there that add various kinds of guns into one plugin (again, just for personal use and learning more about making mods) and even added arrowbones from some that had them into others that didn't (by importing one over the other and deleting the parts i didn't want.... miraculously, this actually worked a few times)
but obviously, it'd be better that i learn to add them myself. (especially being as how what i've been doing doesn't always work right.) so i ask if there's some generous soul here who would be kind enough to either point a noob in the direction of a good tutorial for adding arrowbones in blender or possibly give me an explanation of how if there's none out there.
while i'm at it, is it possible to change the bow animation to something similar to the crossbow's so i could use one for like rifles and shotguns and the other for handguns so that they're both held and fired properly? i really hate to give up either weapon category, but those are the only two that use ammunition of any sort (other than thrown which i'm using as well) and having learned there's no way to add more weapon types without dissecting the actual programming, those are what i have to work with.
thanks in advance for any help and/or advise on these matters.
