Adding custom weapon

Post » Sun Aug 29, 2010 11:10 pm

I made a edited weapon of the 10mm pistol, just increased damage, and those neat stuff. Anyway, I can't get anyway to make the cheat command "player.additem" to accept my item's ID (01000ea7). Every time I do that he gives me error of invalid parameter to ObjectID, or whatnot, and I still didn't manage to find a way to, by using that command (I don't wanna be adding the weapon to the world physically), to add the weapon to my character. I await replies.

01000ea7 would be the item ID if all you have loaded is your esp plugin and the fallout esm, and nothing else. those first 2 digits change in the items ID, according to load order of the esp that the item is in.

If you use fomm, I think it displays your load order, and gives you the hex num of your esp, which is the num that you change those digits to.

Oh! So, for example, the .esp I got my weapon is Items.esp, and on FOMM is says that the index is 06 so the ID would be 06000ea7?

Edit: Yup! I tried like that and it worked. Thanks man! And also thanks for the quick response. :D
