Adding liquid to a container (glass, ect)

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 2:17 pm

I want to add liquid to containers such as glasses and the what not. Any tutorials on this, or any one willing to help me out? Better yet, any resources that already have this?

Thank you,
L

I don't know of any resources that do something like that except for NoM (adds water barrels and things of that nature). You'll have to open up the mesh in a 3D Editor (Blender, 3DS Max) and add it in there. How you do it depends on your style and what kind of item you're adding the water to. For example, if you're trying to add water to a goblet, all you need is a flat surface that is the same shape as the opening of the goblet, and texture it blue. Put it inside the goblet and voila!

Try Dongle's Water Pack. I can no longer find it at the major modding sites, but http://www.silgradtower.net/PublicForumAttachments/Forum2/7z/attachment-0315.7z should contain the full resource:
