additem code for spacesuit

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 5:01 am

To sum it up, I'm stuck in MZ without a spacesuit. I took it off of the body of the astronaut, but it has since just...disappeared from my inventory.

I usually don't use cheats, but don't feel like searching back through a bunch of saves to find the point where it disappeared.

Especially since I've done a lot of scavving on the ship.

Can anyone please help me with the proper additem code?

Help is appreciated.

The BaseID for the Spacesuit is xx0058eb, where the value of xx is a hex code dependent on the order in which you load the .esm for MZ. If you're using FOMM, it's easy to find this value. If not, and you're not using any mods, it should be 01, 02, 03, 04 or 05. Just keep using the additem command with each of those until you get it.

I've never had the suit just vanish on me, BTW, but MZ is buggy as hell so I guess anything's possible. Maybe you accidentally dropped it into a container while you were plundering the ship?

Excellent! The code was, in fact 010058eb. First try, it worked!
Thanks. I'm wondering how you knew that!
