Additional Maps, what do you want to see?

With the announcement of new maps coming, what type of objective base gameplay would you like to see?

For me I would like to see atleast 2 different styles:

-A two way CTF style map with two main bases (a security looking base obviously for security and a Resistance looking base for the resistance) with open area in between. I would like the see the wall building from the shipyard map, where engineers can build defense walls, (which could be blown up by soldiers) which would block pathways and make it harder to get to the apposing teams "flag" (which could be intelligence or something to stick with the theme). There can also be pathways that can only be accessed by light body types etc. I feel this game would be perfect for a CTF mode.

-A control point/conquest style map with a map layout something like shipyard, or anything with many ways around, and no choke points.



What do you all think? What kind of objectives would you like to see? What would the map look like? How is my idea?

And no TDM....

"What if" scenario map of when the resistance escape the ARK only to be met by some type of savage humans basically a survive long enough mission or be killed, would love that, in some type of urban jungle but i should also mention they need a map where it fully uses the parkour feature.

Ark sewer system map.. If we get SDK and we dont get it via DLC I will make a sewer map :) Objectives, just multiple command posts to make for a control point (like TF2) type of map. Not that I like TF2 or want Brink to be like TF2, I just like the control point/domination gametype.

*the sewer system could contain the old and unused underwater Ark subway system also.

i agree with the last part of this regarding parkour feature (not to say the first part isn't a good idea but i'm more focused on extra maps rather than missions in campaign).. i think a greenhouse map would be awesome, something where there's plenty of trees and agriculture or perhaps more botanic garden than greenhouse, but something that doesn't detract from the overall pristine, smooth look of the ark. it could utilise the parkour feel with perhaps a variety of the different rooms and levels of this place containing trees that have fallen, being uprooted for some reason or another. this map (in my mind) would be amazing for TDM, objective base AND a CTF idea. the various side missions may involve maintenance beams that house watering devices for the plants extending across rooms up in the rafters that would act as bridges, there may even be machine gun nests high in the trees.

note to self, write dot points on this one, damn i'm getting into it now

ALSO perhaps a map that allows rooftop to rooftop combat in the main portion of the ark but also the containers, it bugged me that there's so many rigid square shapes, very few places to utilise a proper wall hop or find a sniping vantage point like in the trailer

Since the ARK is self sufficient I'm guessing you have some giant greenhouses full of fruits and vegetables somewhere... I would love some high tech "farm" levels with plenty of cover and vertical terrain.

More Container City like maps, love that map. Has a lot of alternate routes and fun objectives!!
No big distances to walk, lot of CQC and enough parkour possibilites!

I do like the greenhouse idea as well!

There's already a map in Container City, the Resistance's home turf...why not have a map somewhere near Founder's Tower, or even IN Founder's Tower? Something interior with tight corridors perfect for some white knuckle firefights.
