It is said that Malacath has a hidden sanctuary where he tests the bravery of warriors who think themselves worthy of serving him. That sanctuary is said to be a place of challenges worthy of any warrior. But then, there has also been said, that a vile force came to the sanctuary. Some say it is an unknown evil never before seen, while others claims it is the doing of Vaermina. Nobody knows what the truth about that is, but one thing is certain, as it has been told by all those who has ventured into the cursed place: thedeadisrisingthedeadisrisingthedeadisrisngthedeadisrising

Description

Adense Epic Dungeon features a huge dungeon filled with caverns, ruins and hidden horrors. Originally it was an attempt to jsut make a good looking dungeon. But as the mod progressed, more and more it leaned towards containing horrorish content. So that's what it is: a good looking dungeon containing untold horrors and worthy enemies. The entrance to the dungeon lies north of the Imperial City's stables. An Imperial Legion barricade has been set up outside the portal and the captain warns you that everyone who has went in there has never returned. Nobody knows what happened to them, but one thing the legionnairs know: strange noises come from the portal and the foul stench of death lies heavy in the air around it.

The dungeon does contain several tilesets. Caves, ayleid ruins, fort ruins, ruins and also non-pre-made-tileset-areas, where I have put the caverns together using rocks and ruin pieces. It is a very time consuming process, but in my opinion it is worth it, because it looks really great and unique.

Another note on the dungeon design is the lack of lightning. There is light in some places, but in general it is very dark, so you will need a torch. I hope that it is not annoyingly dark, because my intention was to make the dungeon seem like a dark and evil place, but still being playable.
To make the mod even more enjoyable, go to your ini file and change these settings: fLightLOD1 to 30000 and fLightLOD2 to 35000. There might be an FPS drop, but I havn't noticed anything. The dungeon looks MUCH better with this change.

I would recommend being at least over lvl 15 or something. some of the creatures are not leveled, but others are

there are not enormous amounts of loot, but there are some ;) there are no real boss fights currently. There was one planned in the beginning, but I cut it out. It might show up in a future version. I shall include silent voice files in the next update too. Totally forgot about that in this version :P

Ok, not a big issue, but would be cool though. Adds a bit extra to the whole experience.

Definately a very spooky, dark, deadly place! I especially like the extremely deep holes you can fall/climb down. Alas I'm having some problems....when I attempt to go through a few specific doors, the loading screen pops up as normal, and the loading bar gets to about 95% then BOOM "Oblivion has encounted a problem and needs to close" CTD. Maybe its my load order? Maybe I'm using some conflicting mods?

Downloaded your terrifying mind numbing work earlier today after seeing the brilliant design structure of the dungeon in your screenshots. This looks to be the dungeon to beat all dungeons. The horror opus unfathomable to the human mind. Have not seen such horror since Deathless Aphrodite's Cybiades dungeon mod. Thanks and will let you know how it goes.

Wow, I love your use of color and lighting. Very, very dramatic!

I consider Hellbishop to be a kind of expert on what's a good dungeon is and what isn't a good dungeon, so if he says this is a good dungeon that's a real Stamp of Approval with me. I'm about to start a new game soon so I am going to install this for sure. I can't wait to see some of these colorful rooms in person. Thank you!

I just entered and found and orc called Grom. I found an note that suggests he should be dead, but he isn't, he's standing there. Should he be dead?

Yes he should :P I can remember how one of my testers said that he was alive, just standing there, so I made him dead ;) Are you using the latest version, or have I somehow missed to set his health to 0??

EDIT:

Some people say that they have crashes when entering the Arcathor Fort Crypt and the Voidkeep. Is everyone have this issue? I don't have it, tested it just recently just to check :S

EDIT2:

Aha!! I just noticed that the new creature models are not included in the file I uploaded! That explains at least the crashes in the Voidkeep. Will upload a new file!
