okay my race ability is not working. i thought it was the dragon aspect shout overriding it but it's not. i activate it and it just does nothing. what do?

Sometimes you have to wait a day before you can use your race ability again. Race abilities can only be used once a day.

Try waiting or sleeping for 24 in game hours and than see if that works.

i know that, i hadn't used it in over 3 weeks game time. it was charged. it isn't working.

Oh okay. It must be a glitch than, or thats what I'm guessing.

I had a similar problem when trying to use the Beast Form that you get from the Companions quest line. It would be charged, but wouldn't activate.

All was good and well when I started a new character though. I guess some time and some where, something may have gone wrong with your game.

so, my only recourse is to start a new character? i have nearly 50 hours on this guy, that isn't happening.

Yeah, sometimes things glitch out, nothing you can do about it. I'm on a PC and have all unofficial patches, and I still get game breaking problems, like when I was a vampire lord that, every time I tried to revert to the human form died, basically preventing me from ever using the form.
