» Mon Feb 09, 2015 11:45 am Hello everyone! My name is James and I just purchased Skyrim for my PlayStation 3. I had previously played it on my Xbox 360 and on my PlayStation 3. I have never finished the Dawguard DLC on the Dawguard side and I also just wanted to play the game again in general so I traded in some gamees I never play at Gamestop, and got Skyrmi Legendary Edition for my PS3. So that's why I'm here on this forum.
Now onto the topic at hand. Last year during the summer I created a Skyrim race personality quiz. Most quizzes that I had seen were very bad since they didn't really judge your personality at all. They had questions like, "Which type of weapon do you prefer?" or "Would you rather be a elf or a human?" If you know anything about Elder Scrolls lore, or even if you've played Skyrim for a reasonable amount of time, you'd be able to "cheat" the personality quiz so yo could get the race you wanted. I wanted to create a quiz that didn't have questions like that. So I did!
My quiz isn't perfect, but most of the questions aren't as obvious as most. If you take the quiz, hopefully you'll see what I was trying to do. A lot of you I expect will be able to tell that certain questions are for certain races, but I used examples of real-world things to make it a little bit harder to tell. Last year I shared it with my friends and most of them liked it. After I bought Skyrim again I noticed that each race didn't have the same number of possible points. For each question, you get positive or negative points for each of the races you can chose from at the start of the game. Previously, it was all out of wack and uneven. Last night, I fixed it to where every race has the same number of possible points. This means you have the same chance of getting a Khajiit as you would a Nord. Depending on the answers you give one question could be the determining factor between whether you're a Bosmer or Redguard. I gave my friend the updated Quiz and he got a Breton, the race he had always chosen. I got a Nord.
