Is advancing past initiate ever mentioned or done in Fallout

Just curious about it. In fallout 1 after becoming an initiate in the BoS do you ever get a mention and or promotion at any point(which you obviously deserve lol)

no, you become an initiate, and can acquire the brotherhood combat armor and two sets of armor from the brotherhood, as well as the quest to scout for mutants and later attack them, but beyond that, you really get no further development.

Its not really that important ~nor a real focus of the game... The Brotherhood was a side quest.

~They played little part in FO2.

right i know about FO2 and them playing a very small roll and thats fine(its not all about the BoS even though I think they are cool..I like that about FO2) I was just askin :) thanks guys.

No but they put you in charge of a raid on the super mutants.
also while you are down there stand and watch the sparring match to gain unarmed skill%
