This thread is to track the progression of my Fallout 3 Longplay. The game I'm playing is completely MODed, so I expect some crazy things to happen that you won't see in Vanilla Fallout 3. If anyone is interested, this is the thread that will keep it updated. I don't expect it to really ever end end, but who knows.

hmm, strange, my post disappeared.


Anyway just wanted to say I noticed you're missing the necessary FOIP patches for Project Beauty. There should be a series of FWE ones and MMM ones.

Actually, I had to remove them. Project Beauty HD no longer is supported because it was updated. The Patches actually crash my game. If you see in my Update Diary, I had to remove them =(
But, I've removed them, and there doesn't seem to be many, if any issues at all really. Seems to be running fine.

PB changed it's ESM name and killed al compatiblity for the time being.

I'm now taking MOD suggestions before Monday when I will be recording the beginning of the Bashthrough. I'll only take MOD suggestions that will play nice with FWE and MMM, and will enhance immersion. Also, if you could provide a link to the MOD, that would be great =)

I'm not sure how I feel about Fellout. I honestly think the green tent kinda' adds to the immersion. And yes, I'm getting the other three right now! I'll think about Fellout, I'm not sure though.

I'm not sure how I feel about Fellout. I honestly think the green tent kinda' adds to the immersion. And yes, I'm getting the other three right now! I'll think about Fellout, I'm not sure though.

Like I suggested in the other thread, you could give Dynamic Weather a shot instead of Fellout.

I see your point, it makes everything look better but does remove some of the post-apocalyptic feel. Maybe that could be a question for the subscribers in the first question video?

EDIT: actually, thinking about it, Fellout gives pitch black nights, that's immersive :) (plus I want to see you screaming when that super mutie comes out from the dark :laugh:)

Dynamic Weather and the rain MOD have been installed and tested, working as intended and looks amazing! Also, Mr. Gary, Dynamic Weather gives pitch black nights as well, I can't see crap =D

Sweet, are you gonna do the picture in picture thing like the dead space videos? Those dark nights will be sure to yield some good reactions :D

yeah i used to use fellout but i find it makes the wasteland look a bit too friendly and cartoony. imo of course!

haha, the kid stuff was funny as, though I admit I felt a little creeped out thinking about a 24yr old dude sitting in front of his PC talking in kiddie voices for hours on end :laugh:

Holy crap! The kid voice in the trailer.... who was that? I swear it sounded exactly like Amata as a child from the game. Unless it was. Then I'll look stupid...

Good video clips so far. The dream one seemed to be the odd one out though. I didn't see how it had anything to do with the game...or it could have been used as the intro to where Amata wakes you up (as if you were having that dream before she wakes you up).

There were 2 things that made me really laugh out loud. The first was when you were playing on the chair, saying how dad wouldn't want you to, but he isn't here right now...then the door opens and it is dad and you got scared and fell off the chair. That was too funny, you played that part up very nicely lol. The 2nd part was when you shot Jonas by mistake. Thankfully it wasn't a head shot lol, poor guy.

This is great, i love the effort and everything going into the playthough...


Id love to see a more defined mod list and reasoning behind the mods.. there are a lot there that i never heard of, also how you installed them and made them work... sofar this is the coolest thing ive ever seen done with fallout 3.

cant wait to see the escape from vault 101 ands your first trip to megaton!

The dream was right before Part 4, where Amata wakes you up. These dreams will happen everytime my character sleeps, and people will be able to make suggestions that will effect the Bashthrough. At the beginning of Part 4 you'll see the chosen comments, and you'll see how they effect how I play. You may not even notice a difference, but it's there. I do stuff I wouldn't normally do.

I'm going to be expanding on the MOD's that I'm using, and also highlighting the people who create them. This will come later though when there's more interest in the Bashthrough.

Ahh, that seems better now. Yesterday you had it placed right after the Pre-Play Information video. I see you added 3 new parts today, so time to watch more videos :D
