Cazadore wings make excellent wall hangings in your NV home, use caution when killing them so not to damage the wings of these delicate creatures.

Mutations are the fasttrack to power. The trick is getting heavily iradiated and give it time to work on your body.

Hugging a deathclaw gives +1000 exp each time. Just run up to them with no weapons and press E.

That's Y on the Xbox controller.

Also, if you do this in Sneak Mode, you can goose the deathclaw, which elicits a delightful yowl.

All NPCs are tagged 'essential', so shoot first and ask questions later.

The 'November Sierra Quebec' quest is bugged. The 30th ham radio will not respond; it's actually the 50th. So keep trying!

After 'All Quiet on the Western Front' you can continue playing, but only if you have a minimum 'Neutral' reputation with each faction. The Followers, Great Khans and smaller towns do not count. Also, be aware that some of the post-MQ content is buggy but the new patch (out now for PS3!) should fix it.

Don't be a dolt by refusing to keep multiple hard saves for any given character. Keep them a couple of hours apart, and atleast two that are paced at 30 minutes. Call me paranoid but as a console player, I'm particularly vulnerable to bugs.

When it says, Warning, Deathclaws ahead, you can ignore that piece of junk, just don't die.

No, don't. I can't stand the queens buzzy voice. I always side with the Nightstalkers.

Molerats are the hardest critter in NV.

When you see a molerat run towards the nearest Golden Skinned lizard mob, deathclaw pack or giant scorpion nest as they will kill each other and leave you with the XP.

Seriously fear the Molerat... people.

It's a present, because it's Christmas. Free challenge completions are programmed into the game based on your computer/ X-Box/ PS3 time & date setting.
Around Easter time you'll find many more eggs than usual, and at Halloween (as I'm sure you noticed if you bought the game at launch) there are many more ghoul encounters. Just another undocumented feature.

Yes. I recently encountered more snow around Jacobstown and I swear the Remnants Tesla Armor had some strings around it :foodndrink:

That's Triangle on the PS3 controller.

Also, this can be done with Giant Radscorpions as well ... their chittering sound of joy is almost musical.

If you side with Yes Man or NCR and beat Legate Lanius using only a 9mm pistol, you can glitch the game and find a secret exit from the back of the compound. This lets you continue after the main quest.
