Advice for newbies

Post » Sun May 01, 2011 7:06 pm

As a seasoned gamer, I think it's my responsibility (and the responsibility of other experienced players) to let the newbies know where they're going wrong. 3 basic rules for newbies getting into Oblivion:

1) Do your research. Too many people buy Oblivion for ps3/xbox and regret it later, esp since they want the best mods available.
2) Buy Oblivion for pc only. See 1 for reason why
3) Don't complain that you don't have mods when you could easily trade your xbox for a pc. A pc IS affordable if you trade your console. Fact.

These tips should help future gamers what do you think?

You are just jealous because, let me guess, you're on a console right? Maybe you could learn something from my thread.

Honestly?

I think that you're a bit too self-involved and antagonistic for this forum.

That's what I think.

Sorry mods-- it had to be said.

Damn, you showed me there. How could anybody learn from your thread, you put out 3 points and they all said buy it for the PC, thats not helping any noob. Once again, you are a joke. I'll try not to be as "jealous" next time you make a pointless thread.

I'm trying to help new players actually. I just explained what they could do and if you were a seasoned player you'd do the same.
