So i walked into arkngthamz without reading the book and katrina appreared she told ke to grab the journal but the journal was nowhere to be found. I looked everywhere, including in her inventory. I got t shard from arkgtgamz, i already had a shard i came across accidentaly a long time before, and i found the other two shards using an online guide instead of the journal i didn't have. Now I can't complete the quest, katrina is supposed to appear near bthalft but she isnt here and I can't activate the mechanism without her. Is there any way I can complete this quest?

You can try going back to the first ruin and looking for her body again. Did you find her dead body and the journal wasn′t there?


It might be possible to fix it by advancing the quest through the console, or maybe by adding a copy of her journal to your inventory, also through the console.

Including her inventory?

Either that is a bug, or you misread the inventory-part. The journal should be inside the death body of Katria (to be found in the name-giving ruin of that quest).

If it is not there, you can either check again with an old save, or just use the console-command from NutBurz.
