I wish you the best of luck with your project. The best way to learn game programming/design is to get your fingers dirty and do it.

As for the art request... alas, it's not our art anymore to give you permission to use. You'll have to ask Bethesda. They really, truly own it lock, stock and smokin' barrel.

I hope this doesn't mean cease and desist letters for current projects based off the original Fallout games. I for one am looking forward to Mutants Rising! That was the thing I loved about gamesas, you guys not only loved getting the game released but also loved to see what the fans where doing with the engine years later. Seeing what new stories get cooked up what new additions to the engine had been bestowed. I don't ever recall you guys ever knocking on a fan's door and telling them their project is over because of course fans are not going to use the projects to rival the game in which the project is a tribute to.

Fallout wasn't the only game series to have gone this route with IPLY fans. I think that ultimately that is what set you guys apart from any other game developer. Yes you have one of the greatest list of best selling games ever but if you guys didn't care about the fans like you guys did all those years then it wouldn't have mattered. Its like going to a party and everyone is just kidding around and having a good time. The party is between IPLY and its fans with the grill fired up and the cold beers in hand. Those were good times.

And I know those times will come again. Seriously though I just hope these Fallout fan made projects live on. I know you can't comment on this part and I'm not asking you to in any way. I have vented more ways than one and honestly would like to apologize for that in the past. Though whatever happens its ultimately okay cause the charcoal is starting to ember and I got a cooler full of cold beers... come on over! Image
I told the Overseer of Vault 13 I'd give everything to save everyone, and so I did, I saved them all. Since then I've felt loneliness.

You wont have to wait to long for Mutants Rising. I am writing the last world space right now :) we are aiming for a Christmas release after some heavy testing, then on the the expansion and MR2 (if we get a good response). I can't wait to see what the Wasteland fans think of Vegas. I am glad we have people excited.

Good luck Prosper.

Pretty dang sweet to see you here! Yeah I spotted it awhile back and been keeping up with the project news. It would be an awesome present under my tree! Oh and if you need some help testing I can fire up my laptop in a heart beat! Image
