Is there any way to salvage my corrupted saves? After a crash while playing singleplayer, I restarted the game, only to find out that all my campaign saves, collectables, control bindings were gone. I even had to punch in my product code again. I was literally a couple of check points away from finishing the game...

That happened to me 1 time after a failed voltage adjustment on my CPU. I lost my default profile that had my saves and stuff. I was about half way finished with the second play thru when it happened. Doesnt bother me a bit as I was having more fun the second go around being more familiar to the game mechanics and stuff. Honestly, I think it will be even better the next go around.

I have the same problem. Any solution?

Something strange happened earlier. A couple of weeks ago I also lost the previous saves due to my DEFAULT profile being deleted somehow after a crash. I had another profile set up and that bacame the only profile available. The game crashed again on me earlier today, so I restarted it and found that I now have all my original saves and the default profile has returned. The created profile got replaced with the default one. I'm happy to have all my saves back, but how in the hell did this happen?
