After we finish Lonesome Road..

Assuming we have completed the other DLC, will there be a reason to carry on playing the game? or will you put down your FANV cd for the last time?

I'll hold a big party in the Mojave, inviting all the NPC's to it... (Dead ones not included)

Oh well, I still play FO:NV sometimes, waiting for LR.

If it is the last DLC, I might play a bit, then give it up, as I don't see a good reason to keep walking around, doing nothing.

You could always play through again and make different choices. :whistling:

But if you are really done for good, you should just grab a grenade machinegun and give the Mojave a parting gift.

FANV?
It's FNV or FONV actually. ;)

And no I'll continue playing from time to time just like I do with FO1 and FO2. (FO3 on the other hand I cannot return to.)

Actually is appears to be FNV since on this site they spell it "Fallout New Vegas" instead of "Fall Out New Vegas".

Well I know it's "Fallout" not "Fall Out" but instead of saying F1 and F2 we say FO1 and FO2 when shortening it down, so FONV works.

I'm sure he knows that, but it's like people call Fallout 3 FO3 for short instead of F3.

But back to the question, I'll keep playing for a while, start a new game go through the DLCs and make different choices. Then I'll put it down, not for good though. I'll still dabble in the Mojave from time to time.
I really do like this game, but like Gabriel I can't return the FO3, it feels so weird! Not just that but the improvements FNV made wont be present...

I'll keep playing till it's no longer compatible with the (insert Dr. Mobius voice here) OS of the future.

Once I buy a PC (because modding Skyrim would be awesome) I'll fool around with the GECK and mods, maybe try my hand at modding .

I'll do at least one more 'do everything' character; after that I guess I'll be playing Skyrim, though the thought of a fantasy world doesn't engage me like it used to.

Mods will make me want to play continually, though hopefully the modding scene doesn't just die with TESV. It would be cool to see some mods more on the scale of ones that have been released for Oblivion, and possibly a fan made game like what has been made for the originals. I'm getting a little sick of playing as the courier, confined to the New Vegas area. A team is ambitiously remaking Fallout 1, and has made some pretty awesome progress. Hopefully that won't be abandoned.

EDIT: Dammit, just checked and it was cancelled. :(

I'm considering this is as well for Skyrim. I've had quite enough of the limitations imposed by console-based play.

If I wasn't playing on XBox, I'd have already modded a bathroom into The Sink, complete with a talking mirror that berates me for my appearance "You're one ugly mother-f***ker!" and a talking toilet that incessantly complains about having to take sh*t from me all of the time.

After LR, I'll probably retire my game for a while, I have FO1, FO2, Tactics, and Dragon Age Origins to get playing, and I still haven't even started on Assassin's Creed (the original) and by the time I'm even partially satisfied with one of the above listed games it'll be Christmas time and I'll be living it up with the final AC and Skyrim.

Wow...it kinda makes me sad to think I'll be done with FONV already...IT'S ONLY BEEN A YEAR!

To avoid confusion of the F keys. Last I checked there is no FNV key. ^_^

I probably won't touch it, especially since I'll probably be busy with dead island and the Resident evil remake (plus the silent hill remakes, if they release those at the same time). Plus skyrim comes out not long afterward. Besides, since I beat NV and got all the achievements I barely touched it aside from the DLC.

I ll probably try a few more D.I.D. runs before I retire.

I wish Obsidian would make a couple more dlcs. Their dlc packages has been really good IMO

I'll probably play it when I have the time. That and Fallout 3, maybe go pick up 1 and 2. Have school, sports and some other matters to do so there won't be that much time to play video games :sadvaultboy:

Make yourself an alcoholic character and drink your way through the Mojave.
Make a character with the Lady Killer perk and ... well, you know.
