After 2 hours. . .

I am LVL 6. . .And thus far. . .9/10. Quite frankly it's so intense that you want to take breaks between missions. . .I love the feel of the movement. . .although in some places you get stuck. The weps are great and having two primary weps never hurt my feelings. Grenades feel a bit weak but they still do what they need to. No point in trying to be BRAVEHEART youll just die. . .

Awesome! Good to see leveling takes some time Are you on PS3? If so, can you backup your save files? I don't trust my console not to crash soon...

Glad to see you enjoying it and if you're eliminating the parasitic scum on our beloved Ark, leave some for me. If you are the parasitic scum...this is your official notice of a head start. Best of luck. (all in good heartedness of course :foodndrink: )

Ah cali my good friend - You have raised my expectations again!

After reading the heavy flood of "bad reviews , bad performance, bad glitches, bad this that" I couldnt help but think "Should i cancel pre order"....

Another over hyped Too human of the fps world - rushed out too fast rather than time taken to fix stability etc.

But reading your one little line with the "You want to take breaks in between" - my kinda game, love games that build you up, you have to break for a 5min tea and a quick smoke.

Do me a favor though

-post your specs, Or are you playing console?

Sorry Guys I am PS3. . .

Thus far I am sticking with SMG dual wield. . .MOLOTOV seems a bit too powerful. . .scared to be owned with it on MP lol!!!!!
With the perks comes a feeling of control and when trying to achieve objectives. . .(Engineer perks help to capture enemy command posts faster, disarm enemy bombs faster) Solider seems to be the best way to start, getting tons of XP from simply throwing ammo out to team mates. . .
The back of the instruction booklet recommends to stay moving more than stay shooting. . .no joke on that point!!!!

I honestly feel that this game is everything I was expecting. GO AWAY COD/BF PEOPLE. THIS IS AN FPS REVOLUTION. SO PLEASE SPARE ME ANY COMPARISONS. AT THIS POINT. . .9/10 still. . .but remember this is all single player. I see how them mean seemless between SP and MP though. . .And I am loving my Mohawk with scars and stitches combo with a nice touch of "The warrior". . .

Watch out for enemy flanks. . .THESE ARE NOT AIM BOTS. Hmmmmm, wow oh wow I am way pumped up on this game. DLC for PS3 wont be available until network is back up. I did not pre order at wal mart but I still got the spec ops pack!!!!!!

I feel the same way, I am in love with this game. Def a change of pace in the right direction for the FPS genre. Ive already recorded about 7 videos of me playing various missions and challenges. almost done uploading 3, recording and uploading the rest and more tom. Im also on PS3 as well, single player is def satisfying my appetite so far.

After 3hrs I want a wider more correct FOV for pc, and better netcode for matchmaking, but I like it. Preorder unlocks don't seem to be anywhere, however.

lvl 13 here i'm loving it
its either your gonna hate it or love it deal with brink
SMART is fluid and smooth
weaponry is fun and a good amount to choose from
no lobby system but you can form a FIRETEAM and it sticks you/your friends in a sub group
and you will stick together as you go through games and can have different voice settings
it certainly feels more like a hardcoe team based game than i thought
probably will shoo away people

just dont let reviews scare you guys, give it a run : )

xbox 360 here

Same here.
Had it pre-ordered thru Gamestop.(no midnight release) Couldn't wait any longer.
Hit Wal-Mart at midnight and I don't regret it.
Will give the extra copy to my son.
We were planning on playing co-op anyway.

Haha, I'm guessing you're just an oppressive pig then Blossom?

An oppressive pig with a superiority complex, licking peanut butter from a spoon while sitting naked in a kiddie pool full of Jello watching Guests subcome to their demise due to greed. :lmao:

If you don't like the rules Guests :deal: *points to exit*, feel free to leave at anytime.

How funny is it that the PC crowd :brokencomputer: :banghead: is biznatching about tech issues and the PS3 players :gun: are enjoying sp?

 THANK YOU MY MAN! That is the best news I have heard in long while! I've been through 5 consoles in the past 2 years you see, lost most of them to Red Screens. I was dreading losing save files if my current one crashed.

Wow you have had some bad luck bro. I suggest not moving your PS3 and make sure it is plugged into a surge protector. Also, laying the system base side down will help the blu ray player not to compete with gravity. I have had mine for four years now and I vacuum it out at least once a month and have no problems. A well ventilated area doesnt hurt either. Cheers!

After a solid five hour playthrough, its like the veil has been lifted off my eyes. See, here's how I see it. When MW1 introduced prestige mode, the focus on skill and teamwork took a backseat to gaining XP. All these years later, we are like "Wow I don't have to obsess about lvling anymore?" and also "Hmmm so we just play the game just to play the game? Not for some pointless emblem?" Congrats everyone, Neo has been pulled out of the Matrix. I will go into detail later, but to be honest this is the most fulfilling gaming experience I have had in a very long time.

If I were playing this on PC, I would easily shed the required cash for personal dedicated servers without a moments hesitation. I feel console gaming is just more comfortable, plus it is easier on the wrists. I just don't get why there have been some harsh reviews. Whats innovative about Black Ops? Nothing. Just a fresh paint job on an old car. Same with what I have seen of up and coming BF3. I have failed to recruit some of my friends, but I decided that its just as easy to make new gaming friends on BRINK then try to drag old friends while scream about it.
