Yeah, I have a MSI GTX 560 Ti twinfrozr II. I have the latest driver installed and it kinda seems that I get lower fps than with the older driver that rtr mentioned, but it's not such a hard fps drop. Dunno if it's just my imagination.

I know a place on the terminal where I have 96.6 fps, on the latest drivers was about 92.

I am experiencing for 3-4 times by now that Beta drivers are more stable than WHQL drivers of Nvidia. Strange...

From my personal experience currently best NVidia GeForce driver in therms of performance, bugs and stability is 297.53 WHQL. I've tried/tested every WHQL/Beta driver on many GeForce cards in past 2 years and 297.53 WHQL is my choice for now, far more better and stabile than 301.42 WHQL.

For AMD/ATI Radeon users I recommend drivers AMD Catalyst 8.97 18 April but I recommend also to Deauthorize the Crysis 2 (START >>> Games >>> right click on Crysis 2 icon and choose: Crysis 2 - Deauthorize...) before changing curent drivers to AMD Catalyst 8.97 18 April because you might loose one C2 activation if new AMD Catalyst 8.97 18 April driver identifies your Radeon card different than previous driver.

Here are links for AMD Catalyst 8.97 18 April drivers:

AMD Catalyst 8.97 18 April – 7900 MOD driver: http://benchmark3d.com/amd-catalyst-8-97-18-april-7900-mod
comparison with latest Radeon drivers: http://benchmark3d.com/amd-catalyst-12-6-Beta-June-4-benchmark/4

You can use this procedure to completely remove/install old/new Radeon drivers, procedure below is for Radeon cards, but you you can use it also for NVidia GeForce cards, just skip some lines...

1). Use AMD Catalyst Install Manager (Control Panel >>> Programs and features) to uninstall the driver.
2). Restart when prompted.
3). Delete ATI and AMD folders from C: Drive or whatever drive you installed Windows on. ( C:\Program Files or C:\Program Files x86 )
4). Enter Device Manager.
5). Under Display Adapters, right click your Graphics Card name and select Uninstall.
6). Check the Delete the Driver Box and hit OK.
7). Check if any of the following processes are running (in Task Manager): CCC.exe, atieclxx.exe, atiesrxx.exe, MOM.exe and close all of them.
8). Install and run Phyxion Driver Sweeper.
9). Hit anolyze.
10). Select AMD – Display checkbox.
11). Hit Clean and wait for the software to search for all the files. When prompted for action hit Yes.
12). Restart your PC.
13). Install whatever driver you want.

You're right, problems with NVidia WHQL drivers are more often in past 7 or 8 months than ever before. From drivers 285.62 WHQL I've experienced more problems with WHQL drivers than with Beta drivers. Very strange for NVidia indeed...

Same problem here. I have the latest beta driver and it svcks.

With the previous driver, my Adrenaline Crysis 2 benchmark set at Xtreme/Ultra-DX11 got me almost 100FPS -- now it's 55.
