What did you do in Daggerfall after the main quest? I finished the main quest again recently with an argonian wizard character, and now I'm going around the Iliac Bay doing quests of goodwill for factions I'd offended in the past (mainly nobility and merchants), doing odd jobs for the Mages Guild (of which I'm an archmage), being more devoted to the Temple of Akatosh (my character's chosen deity) by rising in their ranks, and saving up money to get a good quality house and settle down in a region. At this point he's looking to settle in Ykalon, since it's pretty remote and far away from the people I upset the most (courts of Daggerfall and Wayrest.) Thought of settling in Sentinel, but decided not to--even though I hadn't directly offended Akorithi or her family--in fact I'd helped them with several things--I don't quite feel comfortable living so close to someone whose offer for the Totem I rejected. (I gave the Totem to the Underking.) Also I'm reading every book I can find to glean info about the Daedra Princes and their summoning dates, so I can summon them and win their artifacts, and travelling, trying to find more vampires, since my character is interested in vampirism. After I've gotten back in good favor with the nobility and merchant classes, and have bought a nice house in Ykalon, my character will remain in that area and focus most of his energy on helping out the Akatosh Chantry, Mages Guild, and regular folk there, only traveling far distances once in a while in search of vampires and knowledge (new books).
Now if only we could decorate our houses with furniture, and also arrange items the way we want instead of having them in random piles, everything would be perfect.
Oh yes, and I'm traveling in search of a daedric staff. I've found daedric everything else, but no staff. I want one to enchant with a daedra lord's soul and make it be the most powerful archmage staff the Iliac Bay has ever seen!
