Just think about it....

You are an escape prisoner, you just witness a murder, not just anyone who get murdered but the Emperor himself! Then....

1. You just get into the Imperial City a few minutes after escape? (Come on, logically no escape prisoner will go into city after they escape, that's crazy)
2. Why don't any guards in the city recognize you? (Who put you in jail? The guards should arrest you as soon as you enter the gate)
3. Where are the guards at the prison? (There are no guards around the prison, not that they are using CCTV or something)
4. You just wandering around the coast killing some crabs, pick some herbs....like nothing happen? (Surely you will get a trauma after witnessing a murder and going through horrible Imperial City underway)

You should go to Weynon Priory to meet Jauffery and then find the Emperor's heir, the empire is in danger, there is a major threat....but then...

1. You going into Chorrol, join Mage Guild and busy yourself to find a book
2. You going into some caves and ruins endangering yourself
3. Busy yourself picking herbs, hunting and killing bandits
4. Pretend like nothing happen and forget it all, going into other cities doing some work...and yeah going to university and get a diploma or a degree....
