After three years of playing...

Post » Tue Feb 10, 2015 1:07 am

Well, I've pased my third year off playing this game, and I'm amazed I'm not sick of it yet. Tonight I was on the 360 playing the vanilla version(my PC is finally in the process of getting repaired after four months), and I still have to say that I love this game just as much now as I did before.

It's really a fantastic game. I'm glad I wrote down my Nexus password before my comp died though.

I've been taking some time off to play Fallout 3 but I'll be back in Skyrim very, very soon. I can't help it, I love this game.

Still a great game after three years of playing. While I'm currently taking a break playing some games on older systems, it'll be no time til I'm back in Skyrim.

I stopped all serious modding projects so I can play the game fully for awhile before ted6 comes out.

Hey, glad to hear you are getting your computer fixed! I am taking time off to play Fall Out: New Vegas, but I'll probably get back into Skyrim sooner or later.

I still cant believe I bought Skyrim on 11/11/11 and still haven't completed 60 - 70% of the game. So for me the game still holds secrets that a lot of people discovered on 11/12/11. And as soon as I finish updating a bunch of mods I'll be back to playing it, can't wait :D

I wish I could still play FO3 from time to time, unfortunately I know every spawn location possible now. I find myself setting landmines in areas I know something will spawn the next time I come through. Even if it weren't for that I think I've just seen every location too many times. I think I'm more of a fantasy role-player anyway. Still can't wait for the next Fallout announcement, hopefully in June's E3.

Same here. I've taken some time off to play Dragon Age: Inquisition, but I keep coming back to Skyrim. Hadn't even finished DA:I because I got homesick to Skyrim.

I'm taking a break to enjoy some Dragon Age: Inquisition, then I'm going to get back into Oblivion/Skyrim until The Witcher 3 drops. In fact, now that I think about it, I still have to finish the Witcher 2.

Well, in any case, every few months, I come back to The Elder Scrolls and do a playthrough or two. It's just such a thorough world, it's addicting. It's a shame so many people look past how great it is and nitpick the smallest things.

I've actually been playing a lot of Morrowind recently, but I'll soon end up back in Skyrim as is always the way.

I just came back from New Vegas! Lovely place, to locals may be just a tad hostile, but minor details. I was running around as a Super Mutant! So that made a few things odd.

Was playing Oblivion more, but now I'm back to Skyrim, It's the beards that are bringing me back I swear!

My goal nowadays is two have two main RP characters in both Fallout and TES that will journey through the series as new games are released.

So for Mathias? Skyrim is a great current home for him. He's made his mark on the landscape by building himself a small shack to live in. Being a redguard in a place full of snow is a bit jarring, but he identifies with the Nordic warrior culture pretty heavily. He gets a few weird looks for his western way of dress, although I think the nords like him having a weapon with him the entire time, although most of them had never seen a proper scimitar in their life.

Mathias is a few weeks old now, and ive been playing Skyrim since 11.11.11. My New Vegas character has been going for much longer, since last october, and Ive also played that game since launch day. Im almost always spending time in one of Bethesda's wonderful worlds, and I wouldn't trade these games for anything.

I bought it on release night and only take brief breaks to play other games...I find myself missing the features and freedom of Skyrim when playing other games. It's not perfect but I love it. :tes:

Same here. Take breaks once in a while but always come back.

Might try Dragon Age this spring since it appears to be popular among Skyrim players...

I tried playing the new Dragon Age but it didn't stick and I came back to Skyrim with a new build idea. Hopefully I can make time to get into newer games.

Me to! All the TES games seem like that to me. Then again I;m on P, so I often find some mod that really freshens gameplay. Death Alternative is my latest one.
