Age - body models and movement

I really hope that Skyrim would have similiar feauture as Brink where you can choose between your body type. I hate it when in every single rpg all the people are identical in their body type. Yes I know there are different races in the world but that doesnt mean that everyone of them is exact same looking in body type

Yeah, I want the under bodies to look as old as the faces, and I would not mind an animation system that would account for NPCs moving different because of age. However, I as long a they improve it somewhat I will be happy. Although I do not look forward to looting an old witch and seeing a shrunken prune-like body under the clothing.

"If you want to play a badass old man who fights dragons and runs like the wind, TES isn't the series to stop you."

^This, with the reservation that if you want to play as a geriatric mage who limps along, TES shouldn't be the series to stop you. I want to be able to go either way.

Maybe...I don't want age to effect my abilities though. If I want to RP an old ultra strong character I ahve every right to, so although I'm usually for realism I don't want it in this case. As for looks, I wouldn't mind if I could change my body's definition along with a body type (sicne body customisation is in this might be possible).

For player characters, no. For non playable characters, yes. Age effects on NPCs would add immersion and variety to the game.

Yeah I hated this in Dragon Age also. All the women, even old ladies, had bodies like pole dancers. At least they did have some fat men NPC's.

Having some random NPC body variances would be nice and being able to change your own body even better.

I for one, would love to play the old fragile mage.

As said above, it could definatly help with the archetypes.

Young = Stealthy
Middle Aged = Stronger
Old = "Wiser", and better at magic

Seems great to me. I'd love to walk around with a limp and a cane, only to turn around and fireblast a bandit in the face. False Sense of security. Can't go wrong. ;)

At a minimum, making the body match the face would be nice - older people shouldn't have buff bodies, and prune faces - unless there is some really good reason.

That said, I could see coming up with advantages and disadvantages based on age. Youthful reactions times in combat would be faster, but old mages would be able to immolate you before you even saw their hand move, etc. I like it. :)
