Agitated by issues

Firstly i think the game itself isn't too bad, its first person, has advlt content and option to what reply to choose so was looking forward to getting my head down and seeing what it was like.

Now, first thing i did was chose very hard as i don't like it to be easy, this made seeing how the weathered pistol at long range was more stronger than the sturdy caravan shotgun or grenade launcher at close alot easier even though my stats wernt too far off each other. This was a ruining moment in gameplay.

The AI was another, there is far more AI that does not have conversation for you than those who do, it would have been far better for them not to have said anything at all or each had one line to say instead of everybody repeating themselves "i love blowing things up" by all powder and then others even said it.

When they were attacking you, you would hear 7 times in a row with no exaggeration off different AI things like "im going to cap your sorry ass", "im going to cap your sorry ass", "im going to cap your sorry ass", "im going to cap your sorry ass", "im going to cap your sorry ass", "im going to cap your sorry ass", "im going to cap your sorry ass". Talk about repetition and ruining immersion.

The AI also spots you easier if your crouch walking compaired to running, what made it even worse was i even get spotted when i crouch behind a door!

Even though a woman was brutally killed for snuff i lost karma by taking a doctors bag, after realising what them people were like it should not make you out to be the bad person.

I have also noticed people shooting when facing the opposite way.

Anyway, the main problem is i was in Gomorrah and i managed to sneak past a guard. I ended up sneaking into a spot though (by Troika) where i could not sneak back out so i had to make a run for it. On leaving the casino everybody was running around outside even though nobody was shooting, i tried to re-enter the place and i just stay stuck, basically it stalls and so i have to backtrack 5 hours.

If an object is flagged red, picking it up is stealing. However in FONV the karma system seems to be secondary to the Faction Reputation.
Besides, it's a tough world out there; as I try to roleplay -as far as the game allows- I consider stealing from people as necessity to acquire stuff that I need, when I simply don't have the caps to buy some. Since I already help out a lot of people, I'm simply trying to replace/repair my gear that deteriorates as I get shot at, or empty clip after clip in order to save some guy I don't even know.

I have also noticed people shooting when facing the opposite way.

Are you sure they are not targeting another enemy? I've seen Powder Gangers who seem to know that I'm around, start a sweep of the area, only to lose interest in me when they engage some of the local wildlife, caravaneers, or other creatures/NPC's,

What i mean is once a person or persons has been determined as being the enemy, or not the good guys then karma should not be lost.. them getting their karma.

Nah it happened a couple of times, trying to dodge around the enemy and that they will be facing forwards whereas they shoot behind them professional style (though gun is facing forward too)

Well i have round about caught up to a days worth of gaming so things arn't too bad now, the repetition is still annoying though and just makes you think about the game design rather then being svcked into the game. Bit like a film, you know its a film, directed, acted, studio'd and what not but if its done properly you forget all that and just get svcked into it. Costs would be saved if they just looked at you, didn't have anything to say and then just looked away. Repeating the same line after each other just doesn't seem intentional though, not to that extent.
