Ta'agra

Hi there. I'm not exactly active on this community, but I'm a budding linguist (I will be graduating with my bachelor's at the end of this year) and have turned my gaze towards reconstructing the Khajiit language Ta'agra. I've scoured the internet for the most part looking for examples of Khajiit speakers, as well as notes taken by people before me. I understand that several individuals, including "proweler", "Penta", and "Adanorcil" have attempted this before, but reading over the notes of theirs that I have found I feel, with no offence intended at all, that I may be better-equipped to do this. If they or anyone else are still interested though I will very happily work with them.

I have written several conlangs before myself. My latest one, Fyelli, can be found http://conlang.wikia.com/wiki/Fyelli. I've actually been working with conlangs since I was fourteen years old (I am now 22), teaching classes in D'ni (the main conlang of the MYST universe) as a youth and later looking at Sindarin, Groa'rgl, and Dothraki. Fyelli is my fourth conlang, and as it still tends to be, my favourite one at the moment. I've never actually constructed a language based on existing lexical material, but I'm looking forward to Ta'agra being the first.

I'm posting here because I would like to know a few things. First of all, once and for all, is there actually a language of the Khajiit that has been created, relatively completely, by Bethesda prior to now? My understanding is that there is not, but the phonological inventory is surprisingly regular, and there even seems to be some consistent agglutinative morphology (including a negative and possibly possession/person markers on nouns and verbs), so I'm honestly wondering.

Secondly, is there anyone who is currently working on this? I don't want to step on anyone's toes; one post I found from last year suggested that no one at the time was working on it; everyone had turned to other things, or just given up. If there is someone working on this now, I would really like to at least assist.

This will obviously be unofficial but should Bethesda feel the need for a full Ta'agra language... well, we'll see what happens. Any information anyone might have on prior efforts towards the language would be appreciated. I don't really need sources, unless you have something that may be very obscure (orthography?); I have the Redguard intro, Jobasha's dialogue, Moonpath to Elsweyr (unofficial, but awesome so I'm going to take it into account as much as possible), and a complete list of names that's proven useful for constructing the phonological inventory. There are also a couple books in Skyrim that might be useful(whose names I can't recall; I'm away from my PC at this point in time but plan on checking this weekend when I return).

Thanks in advance!
