Agree or disagree with horse – still yet another PR hit

No big, lol, but you're not calling me out, you're understanding what I wrote wrong. I'm not worried, and I never said I was.

I don't worry all the time, and have no idea why your mind went to such an extreme. I haven't read a post here in which i saw people "worried."

I have tons of disposable income, most don't. However, even I would take issue with &15.95 a month + a cash shop disguised as a store front due to the fact that I feel it's extreme.

Zen has been "upfront" about not having a cash shop, and now they have what could slowly end up being one.

Either it's no big, or Zen is going to take the long way around to try to screw it's player base over.

People don't like being screwed over when it comes to their money, especially with how the US economy is for a lot of people at the moment.

It's just being a conscientious consumer.

The fears are justified, ways of gouging your target market is a very real thing: http://www.gamasutra.com/blogs/RaminShokrizade/20130626/194933/The_Top_F2P_Monetization_Tricks.php

Yes, it isn't tied to TESO, but to claim the fears aren't justified isn't fair when the examples of shady business practices in gaming is increasing every year. Some aren't even trying to deny it or put up with the show, just flat-out say their intention is to cheat their customer any chance they can.

All we can do is wait and see. Either Zen strays from the pack and values their reputation over the bottom line, or they get in line and use every trick they can to get profit while it lasts, and move on.

Also not fair for those trying to criticize every gamer who ends up in such a scenario. The choices of "good companies" are dwindling, and I have turned away from previously loved companies, no longer giving them my business. I also happily enjoy the smaller indie companies that manage to release good games. I'm sure some day gaming as a hobby will end up much like television/movies, where I ignore most of it because it is one giant marketing scheme.

Dunno why you replied to my same post twice but I've given you my take on things.

In my opinion, you need to ask yourself why you take what people say to the nth extreme. It's not healthy son.

I'm posting from phone so maybe that's why it double posted.

I don't think I'm being extreme, I think the general public is. I wasn't referring to you specifically I simply wanted to point out your what if comment and relate it to how the public is reacting. I have seen half a dozen posts on the horse alone and people relating it to buying endgame gear and fully leveled characters.

That to me is extreme
