I’m in Aichan prison, which is on the west coast in the Realm of Sheogorah, located directly north of Passwall.

To complete my search, there is a gate that needs to be open; it is I think, one of the last gates that need to be open. The message says it is opened somewhere else. I can’t find that somewhere else. Can someone tell me where that release is located or give me an idea of where to look? I’ve spent about an hour (my time not game time) looking and I can’t find it. Thanks for helping.

Are you sure it's not right next to the door, one of those blocks with the green face on it?

Yes, I'm sure it is not right next to the door. It is one of two doors that appear to open into the next area. Both doors are locked and the message says they are opened else where.

I don't know if it's a puzzle. In one room just before one of the two doors mentioned above, there is a floor that is both ceiling of the room under it and the floor of a room that has stairs going to one of the two locked doors. When the floor/ceiling opened, arrows shoot down from the ceiling into the room below and in the room below fire balls shoot from side to side.

There are other rooms that have those blocks with the green faces, but in this case, not so. In fact some of the doors have that green face on both sides of the same door. That's why I'm thinking it may be a puzzle. Thanks for your help

Several of the SI dungeons have doors you can only pass one way (to give you a shortcut on the way out). It's likely that the only button is on the other side, and there's another (longer) path to get there.

I'm familiar with that scenario. However, from the two different door where I can stand, looking through the bars of doors,I can see three switches inside, but can't find how to get into that area. It's probably some kind of puzzle. Oh well, as much as I hate to give up, there is still a lot of exploring to do. Many thanks for your considerations.
