I think the colours should reflect the neon-theme in Vegas.. :)

I think they didn't offer red because it is already used in the HUD for enemies--the ticks on your compass, the recticle when you aim at a hostile target, and the enemy healthbar. You wouldn't be able to tell friend from foe. Red is the one constant for all the HUD colour themes.

Yes, an RYB slider would be best...

Ya so far it looks like its that one color and no others. I just hope my bad eyes can manage to see it right.

I doubt they'd only have amber/orange as the only HUD option, even Fallout 3 had at least 4 options and I expect Obsidian to follow suit or at the very least have all the same HUD options from Fallout 3. :tops:

I'm not going to worry too much about the HUD color. I've used all of them available in FO3, and I actually didn't find that I preferred one over the other.

I DO HATE the >< crosshair, though.

Drives me insane.

I much prefer a + or similarly shaped aiming point.

Having RGB sliders would be cool to have in my opinion. Everyone's HUD could be a unique color.

You could have an entirely black HUD if you wanted.

That would be nice then we could just make our own colors instead of waiting for mods to add them. :tops:

I hate it too. Im playing the console version on a monitor and that thing looks huge. I would be really happy with just a 'dot': like the optional one in gta4..

IIRC there is a pretty easy way to change the HUD and PipBoy colors by editing the games config file (PC version obviously) in FO3 by putting in the right color code or something like that.

I don't see why this still wouldn't be present in Fallout NV if they don't offer in game customization.
