Aim reaction time

Post » Sun Feb 22, 2009 9:31 pm

Does anyone else ever notice that the time it takes to fully enter and exit the aiming position is a bit sluggish and delayed for such a fast paced game? seems like it should really whip in and out of it nice and swift like, but instead takes a moment or two to actually act after the action has been registered. Am I alone on this?

No, I've seen it too. It's really annoying. The worst part is the delay between reloading, and then shooting. If I'm in a gun battle, win the first one, and another guy runs up on me just as I'm finishing my reload, I'm screwed. I don't think that it lag, or connection problem, I think that it may be caused by the engine they're running. It could be fixed, and I hope that it is.

yeah id like to see an aiming/reloading speed similar to Resistance. its been a while since i played it, but if i remember correctly, that game has some lightning fast reflexes. which would especially accomodate the nanosuit ability to alter speed.

Heres the perk for that. On the Power Module

Weapon Pro
-Faster weapon reloading
+Faster aiming down sights
++Faster weapon swith

That should help you out!

wow im gonna have to try that out. My tv is so small and not HD i can barely read anything lol i knew the weapon pro was faster reloading, but didnt know it tweaked the others as well. Ill give it a whirl and post back on my findings. BUT... i stil dont think that should be a perk, to me it seems like at least the faster aiming should be mandatory with a game of this calibur. but yeah, ill give that a shot. TY!
