How the guy can even get away with uploading promoting game exploits on youtube for his own financial gain is beyond me? :banghead:
I hope someone in the game industry comes down on him hard oneday if not soon.
I guarantee all his games and DVDs are pirated too, so when and not if he gets caught, hes going to spend along time in the slammer! :nono:

Also a woman was sued by Microsoft for exploiting a pinball game and is currently doing jail-time because she couldn't afford to pay the extremely high fine..
Ive been looking for that article for that but googles not being so kind to me today i know it was about a year ago or 2!
(if someone finds the link feel free to post it)

This is the reason I want this game for XBOX.

I refuse to play FPS on PC due to the incredlbe ease of hacking, while XBOX games can be hacked, its more difficult, but above all, if your caught, the consequences are alot more steep.
XBOX live...bye bye.

I have a nice rig and can run Brink smooth, but I dont care. I will in the end pick up this game for my XBOX, thats where FPS belongs.
PC developers should stick to MMOs or massive RTS games, etc.

Every good developer knows this, but not Splash....Especially considering the FPS fan base on PS3 and XBOX together is roughly 5 times the fan base on PC. Its not hard to calculate income that way.

As an XBOX player I respect your opinion but disagree, I too have a nice gaming pc and bought Brink for XBOX first, but I understand that PCs are more powerful, allow for greater movement speeds, have better server setups, and have cheaper games than consoles.

Have you ever played any of the great FPS's, Counter Strike and TF made gaming.

Anyway I would like to thank you for this since now I definately wont pick this up for PC.
I was actually about to download from Stream despite my fears.
I will buy it for XBOX it seems. IF I buy it. Man this game looks so sweet. But Im sure in a few weeks its ok.
Hope they fix the graphics.

Why did they release this now? Where they pressed by Bethesda?
The income they lost is Huuuuuge.

This game could have recieved 8.5-9.0 from all serious gaming sites and magazines had they polished it up, had dedicated servers for XBOX and PSN etc.
How can they be so stupid? Its totally beyond me.
They damage their name for future titles too this way, might even ruins their own company.

Did they beta test this on PC only? I thought they did on PS3 as well...and almost none on XBOX, which holds the largest community of all game platforms.
Im not complaining, im looking business anolytical on the whole situation and it feels as its done by a bunch of geeks that went through life playing games and have no real sense of reality or business.
Crazy.

havent been around too long have you? Doom, Quake and Unreal Tournament made FPS.. What are you Xbox players going to do if an SDK is released for Brink? You will miss out on all user maps and mods.

To let a few cheaters stop you from playing on PC is just admitting that they beat you. Many online pc servers usually have a number of admins that will kick and ban a cheater if caught.

"If" they are caught which is sadly very rare in my experience.

LOL...that logic works well. I "heard" the guy's real name is Sanch3z and he just changed his ingame name to Doober. Let's talk to Steam about banning the guy with a name of Sanch3z...logic...failure.

anything worthwhile to add or is your point in life to be a smart ass?

lmao! yeah, console pads are so good you get aimbots built into the games.

devs are concentrating on consoles as they are harder to copy games. thats the only reason. and because sony and ms pay them for exclusives.

fps needs a mouse to play WELL. i also prefer to get my kills myself and not with masive hiboxes and aim assis that you xbox people get.

the only fps ive played properly on a console is kz3 with the ps move and sharpshooter. at least that is 100% down to my aim, unlike the pad users i play against.

get to know the servers you play on. Server admins have record of all IP's that enter their server. Cheaters can and will be caught and banned from the game. I used to admin multiple servers for UT2k4 and have caught and banned many cheaters. All it takes is word of mouth and they can be banned across multiple servers.

PC elitism really irks me. I just find it funny that you spend thousands upgrading your machines every year, and we pay a one off £200 for our consoles.
I'm sure there are plenty of console players that could kick your ass with no aim assist, and the biggest game of all time lives on console.
