Aiming, Shooting & Ironsights

Post » Tue Feb 04, 2014 12:17 am

Hi Guys,

I don't get this aiming (Right mouse button) thing.

I have a simple question:

My question is: can you shoot/fire from the aiming position? Or do you aim, go back to regular view and then shoot?

It seems weird that you can't fire from the aiming/ ironsights position.

Thanks

Srey

Iron Sights are an alternative way to aim. It appeases the Shooter crowd as they use the sights on the gun to aim, in this case, the right trigger is used to bring the gun up the eye to aim it down the sights. Other's use the Reticule (cross hair) to aim, in that case, using the right trigger is for zooming in to the target. You can turn Iron Sights on or off in the game options.

So, use the sights or the reticule, but not both. Me, I turned the Iron Sights off as I prefer the reticule to point the gun.

None of this matters when using VATS.
