I have a query for you guys (two really).
How do you carry your loot? I just got done with Lonesome road, and I came out of there with some 8,000 pounds of weapons, armor, and useful other things. I managed this because I have a tent mod that includes storage, so when I've gathered all I can carry, I set up the tent and load it up with the booty. I'm a bit at odds with myself over using the tent, because it is obviously a cheat, but I really hate running back and forth trying to find a trader or merchant when I'm someplace in nowheresville.
Especially if I'm overencumbered and can't run. Inside Lonesome Road, you have to get back out before you can fast travel to anywhere, and I really don't think I could have made it back past the critters in any case. I used stealthboys to get past going in (I was level 20 and found out I was a bit underpowered for standup combat).
So, what do you use to carry your loot (not to mention ammo and weapons)? Do you just fast travel, or do you load it all and slog along in slow motion until you can get rid of it?
The second question is, if you get the "rough 'n ready bedroll" (and you play hardcoe), Sleeping in it doesn't heal crippled limbs or restore health, so is there a point to carrying that extra weight? If it would restore health and crippled limbs, I would leave my tent behind and just find a way to deal with the stuff, but as it is, the bedroll seems kinda useless.
