M'aiq, easter eggs, ES5 skyrim

Post » Sat May 28, 2011 11:44 am

M'aiq should be included in skyrim. with all these opinions about the game, M'aiq should have his own take on it and he should be found in a very secured place such as in a ditch at a far level of a cave idk lol

I sure hope he is included, or M'aiq the 3rd.

Maiq is the most down to EARTH (pun, like.. not NIrn, earth) person in the game.

There are so many threads on this. I'll say the same thing I always do. As he is an Easter Egg he can basically just say, "M'aiq hears of people who enjoy being immersed in fantasies. M'aiq thinks they have too much free time." (Read: I don't have to make sense so too bad for your immersion, lulz)

Yes, and he should be exactly like he was in Oblivion. Dear god was it entertaining seeing people say stuff like this: "How DARE you make fun of my opinion! I AM A CUSTOMER! I will never buy your games ever again!"

he's kinda like an easter egg of sorts. he talks about the game in general, the fourms and unusual things of peoples taking of the game but he says it in an epic way lol

I think there's a good chance he will be. He's been in the game world since Morowind.

M'aiq would say things like "Some people want special bows that take too long to load and need special arrows called bolts. M'aiq thinks they are idiots." which was making fun of the people who lobbied for crossbows for 3+ years straight during Oblivion development. I guess their hyper inflated egos couldn't handle this, and they went ballistic, lol.

M'aiq the Liar is a Khajiit savant who gives the player opinions about the game. All of his comments are arguably serious responses to various issues in the game, however the majority are dismissing people who point out issues in the game as stupid, unlike his earlier appearance in Morrowind where most of his statements were lies or farcical comments that did not quite address the topic in the way the player would have expected.

and uhhh.....m'aiq is my avatar

Wouldn't it be funny, if Betheda put an argonian into Skyrim, let's call him W'aldo, who would say things like; "Some people like Kajit liars, W'aldo thinks they are idiots."?

Lol I was part of a modding team for a while and I suggested we put a body wearing Waldo clothes with a big message "I found you!" written in blood. A tribute to BGS. And I don't know what is with some people I thought that game was the [censored] at my daycare. Of course I was 4.

No, I'm questioning the line the he took from the UESP, saying that they were much different than each other, when in fact I think that they're very similar.

"Some people think M'aiq should be dead... but this cat has 9 lives"

Made me lol.

I just shamelessly stole that from someone, whose name eludes me atm, but props to whoever said it

Just the kind of things he said were different. It was more about the actual topic at hand in Morrowind, but in Oblivion he was kind of there just to be a jerk lol.

Well, I disagree. I think they're pretty much the same.
And that line he took suggests the opposite of what you think, but then again, I also disagree with that.

Here's some things he should say in Skyrim lol:

-"M'aiq had a stick with a blade at the end of it once - but the stick broke. M'aiq could not even put it back together with repair hammer."

-"M'aiq is glad no vampires are about. The sparkle hurts M'aiq's eyes."
