I gotta say, up until now I didn't really know much about M'aiq, but I read up on him on UESP, and now I've been enlightened. He should totally be in Skyrim!
Good to hear that you've seen the truth and joined the brotherhood.
Maybe M'aiq will be the object of a Necromancer quest, which is one way the developers could write him back into the world. Say a group of Necromancers have holed up in M'aiq's tomb so that they can resurrect him as a prophet.
I never really exepted his return. Not since they hinted about Caius Cosades being in Oblivion just to find out that he was not. Thats when I knew not to expect things like the return of favorite characters.
M'aiq isn't immortal.....? No, he will live on in the hearts of Men, Mer, and beasts alike, and we will carry his practice of lying into the North, and he shall be remembered in every dragon we slay....
Makes sense there would be no M'aiq in Skyrim. Isn't Skyrim to happen hundreds of years after Oblivion? Maybe we'll see a M'aiq Jr. the fourth or some successor in Skyrim?
cmon pete just make sum funnily dressed khajiit that hints at the occaisional foolishness of the forums if the time passage and maiqs inclusion bugs you that much then either hint he is really a daedric prince of some sort (daedric prince of truth perhaps?) or clavicus viles dog or have some khajiit called maiq jr
Yessir. As I indicated in post #80, approximately six years pass between Morrowind and Oblivion. Morrowind starts in 3E 427 and Oblivion starts in 3E 433.
I'm sure ete's just being misleading.... right?................RIGHT?........RIGHT!!!!????. He's not?.......... no..........snip
Pete is a guy that's good at avoiding a question or misleading the answer to cause many people to over anolyze what he says, then they disappoint themselves.
Then they come back to the forums to whine how they were mislead by what Hines said.
If M'aiq Isn't in the game, they will probably have a character similar. Maybe the new character can mention M'aiq wielding spears on the throat of the world :3
