Since M'aiq is dead after 200 yaers since oblivion I got an Idea to continue his legacy.

N'aiq the liar will be a cobination of the oblivion an morrowind version of his ancestor. (morrowind mostley lying about stuff not in the game, while oblivion one made fun of Morrowind fan's rants about things being removed in oblivion.) As well as could give you the location of his great great great great Grandfather's grave. What do you think?

Honestly, there's always a lot of talk about how it could be his descendant and that it's 200 years after Oblivion, but as far as I'm concerned, there's no need for any explanation or any name change or anything. M'Aiq the Liar is an easter egg, plain and simple. It's perfectly acceptable to just throw him in again without any backstory.

It was pretty close, don't remember the exact number but i rember seeing some kind of time line in a video that show the events from Arena to Oblivion taking place in about 100 years. so i'm guessing each game flashed forward 20-30 years.

M'aiq should be a vampire. You would find him in an ancient ruin, one-hit-killing your character if he spots you. And if you can get past him, you will find his journal, insulting oblivion fans being angry about things taken out in skyrim.

we dont know if hes dead in morrowind there were also wizards from tevanni who were over 1000 years old so what are 200 then?:P besides in morrowind m'aiq was pritty close in telvanni grounds so who knows he maby picked up some long life tricks from those telvanni wiz

also he was in the seogorath regoin in morrowind maby some secret hint >_>

also if hes dead what would stop his ghost from wandering around telling very imprtant secrets
