M'aiq the liar won't leave my house! Help

Post » Sat Nov 17, 2012 1:43 am

M'aiq would like to thank you for building him this wonderful home. It was quite unexpected, and M'aiq will be forever grateful.

M'aiq is tired now. Go bother somebody else.

What i wouldn't do to get that Khajit into my house...

I hope his "Khajit habits" wouldn't get the better of him and put most of my gems in his pocket. Never mind. He's M'aiq. That cat deservers my entire house!

I don't know how he got in there, but he was hanging around outside for a while when I first built the house. I hate his creepy 3rd person speech and he makes threats towards me when I bump in to him in my own house, die, DIE I say!!

Haha!!! This is great, it made my morning good. Did fear shout or spell work?

If you just want him out of your house but don't mind him on your property, try inching him towards a door by getting in his face and making him back up. Once both you and he are near a door, engage in conversation with him, and quickly exit through the doorway as he's talking to you. He should follow you out.

I think this is the best/only way of doing it. NPC's will go through a door with you if they are addressing you.

I love M' aiq!

I once named a kitten after him. But sadly, I got my husky and she chased him out of the yard and I never saw him again... :(

But I do want him in my house!

You're within the presence of the wonderful M'aiq, I don't see how this is a problem.

Indeed.

Does anybody remember M'Aiq the liar on the forums. If I recall the character and persona was based on a real person.

Start a conversation with him and rush out of the door. He should spawn right next to you outside if he is still giving dialogue....but...come on, adopt him into your family!

He was probably taking a stroll through the wilderness when a huge house popped up out of nowhere and got trapped in it when the house's door appeared out of thin air. Poor M'aiq. :c

This thread is making me Lol. I feel for ya, OP. :) I like M'aiq a lot, but it would get annoying having all that traffic in your house for sure.

Yes, it also works if you want to "lure" someone into your house in order to "dispose" of them without the guards noticing. With one of my first characters I lured Nazeem and the "guy who works for Belethor" into Breezehome, killed them, and placed them on the two chairs facing the fire pit. I would laugh my ass each time I entered the house as they would greet me... silently.

"Do you ever go to the Cloud District? What am I saying, of course you don't, you're dead, in my living room."

Be aware that the corpses will stay there forever so only do something like this if you really want corpses in your house. My main house was Markarth at the time so I didn't mind.

Well, if you can't get rid of him, remember that it could be worse... I read a post by someone who had a daedric prince in their house.

Given the choice between an obnoxious cat and an unholy monster from oblivion... pretty easy, right?

I dunno, having Sanguine or Sheogorath as a roommate might be pretty cool.

*reads title, then read again*

I'm not sure where I'm seeing the problem here. ;)

Except for the last thing he says. That might get annoying in your own house. :ermm:

Yes, this.

M'aiq is awesome and should be treated as such. If he wants to be creepin' all up in your place, you go ahead and let him.
