I think the way it works right now is way too situation dependant. If at least it would give you another mobility trick edge of some sort

Recovering after a stomp idd takes too much time, if it could stun or "snare" the opponent's sensitivity or things as such, dunno.
It would be hard to make it more viable while not making it suddenly overpowered. I don't wanna see people bunny hoppin' their stomps from a standard power jump on the same height of the target. Yet not really much of any other module has the concept of being punished for using them except than "if only I had that other module instead". I mean if your stomp fails or someone has an occasion to shoot you while recovering from a stomp, you're basically screwed. I don't use it but everytime someone tries it on me and actually fail like 99 times out of 100 I sure am gonna be happy filling his idle head with bullets...
When you look at the other modules some are situational as well but more well rounded. Nano Regeneration or Energy Transfer in comparison are great for example. The conditions to profit are a lot more straight forward, frequent and cannot be punished: one is get a kill to benefit from your module (but don't get greedy and die - that's something anyone does with or without that module) while the other one is stay alive. Stomp? Find height, be there at the right place, right time and try to land it on multiple opponents for maximum profit. Hmmmm...
However as far as it goes the damage data says that it is velocity based, meaning more height, faster landing.
Minimal damage, 40 in a 2 meter radius; maximum being 220 in a 7 radius. Thing is, since I don't have any buddy yet in here I haven't been able to test a couple of things that intrigue me - one being is the damage reduced if you have Armor Mode on, another is if you have a higher run speed (best would be having a Nova in hand + the Mobility node from Armor module) counts as velocity and the last one being is this damage gradually reduced depending on how far an affected target is within the radius? Anyone been able to test this around?
