Akatosh and Dagon

Woot! first post!

I really love the work the devs have done in creating the mythos of elderscrolls. even the vagueness has an appeal of its own, encouraging (at least me!) to do research. There are some things however that I can't seem to trace and whenever I look at the forums for possible answers, I always end up with more questions! Whats gotten me confused is the oblivion story.

Mehrunes Dagon says he wants Nirn cuz it was his. Looking around in the forum I found he has claim over it though Lorkan? o..k. Then I hear that Dagon IS Lorkhan or Dagon is Akatosh or Lorkhan is Akatosh or Dagon is Magnus!!! Meridia also comes into the mix somehow and before you know it my mind has been turned into mush! :shakehead:

Can anyone refer to me the stuff I need to read to make sense of this? Sorry if I'm asking old questions again but researching things though forum topics has just give me a headache!

Camoran told you that. He's a bit confused himself as he thought Molag Bal's Coldharbour was actually Meridia's, and several other weird claims. The guy's either crazy, or very misinformed.

Mehrunes is all about destruction and revolution. So his attack in Oblivion fits his sphere. But there may be http://www.imperial-library.info/content/fight-one-eating-birth-dagon for wanting to destroy Tamriel. Give it a look.

I recall reading that the Coldharbour thing was a mess up in the script rather than an actual statement Camoran believed.

story goes that gamesas gave it to the VA's (KNEEL BEFORE ZOD) when it quite frankly wasn't ready (or maybe not even intended) to be used for a Mankar's speech.

It sounded nice though, and that's what really counts.

I'm going to lay down the line here and say that Camoran is not crazy or misinformed. Just mistaken.
