What are we seeing when a Dragonbreak happens? It's not just the past, present, and future. In a linear timeline, during a Dragonbreak, we would only see one past and one future. But this isn't what happened. There were alternate timelines happening at once. This means that our timeline is not truly linear, but is always subject to change, which makes sense given the nature of Dragonbreaks. To be the god of time, Akatosh must be able to see all of these events. Among the Aedra and Daedra, Akatosh is the only one who is all-knowing.
