Akaviri Armor

Post » Tue Mar 11, 2014 3:56 pm

Im sorry if the Akaviri Armor is already in the game, but looking at ESOHEAD, there is no option to craft Akaviri cultural amor/weapons, i love the Samurai Style and was wandering if ZOS is making it possible for us to use it.

Any1 have info on that?

Lets focus on one continent at a time lol, save the akaviri stuff for another expansion to get yourself hyped up for the snow demons, tiger dragons, tsaesci, and monkey people will still be there, waiting, probably hungry for the flesh of mer just have patience.

it's called imperial armor. At least in the Lore. They did make the Remans rather roman-heavy though

nope, the imperials and the akaviri are two cultures very diferent, Akavir is another continent far from Tamriel, full of misteries, strange creatures and inhabitants and a "japanese-flavor" from what we have seen in the scarce lore that exists about it and their equipment and architeture found in the previous games.

the imperial armor is from the "Cyrodiilics", the joined culture of the colovians and nibanese from Cyrodiil, with heavy inspiration in the roman empire and it's culture in general, the Blades which are seen using akaviri-inspired weapons and armor in the TES games are descendants from Reman's Dragonguard who were Akaviri invaders who pledged allegiance to him after recognizing Reman as Dragonborn, the one whom they were searching for in their "crusade of Dragon extermination"

The Blades used Akaviri style armor and weapons, especially in Oblivion, if I remember correctly. I know that swords at least were.

actually their invasion already happened, that's the lore (excuse) for the formation of the Ebonheart Pact, the Nords, Dunmer and Argonians united to fight of the Akaviri invaders and created the Ebonheart Pact after this to fight for their independence in the Interregnum

FYI These guys are the "Akaviri" that invaded Tamriel.

They are the Tsaesci, dragon hunting vampric snake people.

If you mean armour like what the Blades in later timeline ES games wore, that's a fusion style of Imperial armours and the Tsaesci styles.

Pretty sure that didn't happen until later then ESO's time frame though, once the Akaviri Dragon Guard was reinstated as the Blades under Tiber Septim.

this is not certain and there is ALOT of contraction in the lore about the akaviri been snake people or men, some lore books refer to them as sneak people, or having the upper body of a man but the lower body of a snake and other lore books refer to them as men just like the nords or the redguards, also there is in game evidence that supports this as seen in Oblivion where the player finds the remains of dead Tsaesci (humanoid skeletons) dating back from their invasion and the battle of pale pass and Skyrim where the player finds Alduin's Wall inside Sky haven Temple who despict in the third panel the Tsaesci (Dragonguard) kneeling before the Dragonborn and despicted as humanoid figures, but only the lore-makers know the truth

  • The Tsaesci are entirely snakes, but have http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Slavery the humans on their continent (instead of eating them) and use the humans to make up the bulk of their armies. http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Goblin were also said to be the slaves of the Tsaesci.http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Tsaesci#cite_note-makavir-0 As political savants, the Tsaesci were wise enough to limit their direct interaction with humans from other lands to only high-ranking nobles of both races. In this case, both the snake people and their human slaves would be considered Tsaesci, with the humans being able to blend in with Imperial society. Since the invading armies of the Tsaesci were more often referred to as "Akaviri" instead of "Tsaesci", it would seem the invasions mainly consisted of human Akaviri footsoldiers, with the Tsaesci only being present as high-ranking officers. This also puts a slightly different spin on the "amnesty" granted by Reman I -- it may have been more of an asylum for the human slaves against their Tsaesci masters.
  • The final theory is that there were two races of beings, one human and one snake-like. It is worth noting that the humans are never directly referred to as "Tsaesci" but usually as "Akavir". This supports the idea of two different races. During the two invasions the human Akavir still lived but sometime after the Empire's failed invasion they were wiped out by the snake-men, the Tsaesci. Thus today there are no humans on Akavir.

That's the lore for them that I remember finding in the past ES games.

The humans were slaves to the snake men, used as a meat wall essentially during the invasion.

The snakes killed off all the remaining humans after the Imperial invasion into Akavir in the 3rd era, replaced them as a food supply with goblins.
