Akaviri AttireBeast-like Folk.

Post » Tue May 08, 2012 7:24 am

I have a simple question that's been on my mind for quite some time. In the land of Akavir, there is 4 races, None of which seem to be able to wear the Akavir Armor. So was it the Remanian forces that wore the 'Blades Armor' or Was it the Akaviri? I was informed that (in the events of 'Oblivion') That the armor/weapons came from Akavir Forces, Which I don't understand because all of Akavir are beast-like folk. It confuses me greatly.

Not all Akaviri are beast-folk. There are men and mer in Akavir too, and it's my understanding that it was the men from Akavir that wore the Blades armor.

There are humans on Akavir who seem to be working with/under the control of the Tsaescii. Tsaescii don't wear armor, so that means there was another race with them. You can see Akaviri skeletons and ghosts. The Akaviri humans used this blades stuff.

What is that thing in your pic?

Never heard of Akaviri mer.

The Pale Pass folks were probably Tamriellic allies of the Akaviri, in case no one noticed how they were Imperials speaking your language.

Then the Akaviri men still gave them the armor and weapons.

Or they developed human armor based on Akaviri designs. The whole point of the Akaviri is the immense charisma of their culture, and there's no reason snakemen can't use swords and cuirasses. Designing boots to go with it isn't exactly the work of generations.

You make a good point. I kinda like your idea more anyway.

I kinda like the theory that Akavir is a mirror-image to Tamriel, and they Eat It To Become It. So, when we have Ysmir who (most likely) absorbed so many dragon souls that people started to see him as a dragon, the Dragonguard absorbed so many human souls on the way to Pale Pass that people stopped seeing snake-men, and started seeing humans. Which would explain why there were snake-like Tsaesci as well, like the Potentates. They were part of the invasion, but they weren't part of the Dragonguard.

It could be that the Tsaesci only wore the cuirass, pauldrons, gauntlets and helmets because they were humanoid except for snake tail instead of legs.

Look at my pic.

And if there are no Tsaescii, I will be angered.

If Tsaesci ever appear, they need to have hilariously long, segmented plate armor for their tails-sections.

With a washizaki on the tip of their tails, so that they can triple-wield swords.

And they have to shoot magic out of their big snake mouths.

But seriously, I would play a Tsaescii. I think the animations would be the hardest to pull off. The tail has to interact with the environment. When you sslither over rocks, around trees, into buildings, up hills, into the water, down mountains. And you couldn't jump...

So what type of men and mer? Are they the same men and mer like imperials and high elves and such? just working for them? or a different race of men/mer entirely?

I could be wrong but I thought it was Akavir who made the armor but I'm not so sure if it says it was an Akaviri armour design that was actually worn by the Akaviri themselves.

Not saying it isn't but just trying to state how I think it is worded.
