Recently,I was reading a book called "Mysterious Akavir" again, and it calims that Akavirii, especially Tsaesci, could be Serpent/dragon-like people, so I decided to post these:

Akavirri ? No? Coincidence? perhaps?

These are actually some pantings of NüWa(goddess) and FuXi(god), a divine couple from ancient Chinese mythology, two of the legendary ancestors of human, and they are all half human half snake(or dragon).

The Akaviri, specifically the Tsaesci, are oozing with east asian culture.

We only really know about the Tsaesci, but this is how I always envisioned the Akaviri races' relation to real cultures.

Tang Mo- Malaysian
Kamal- Mongolian
Ka Po' Tun- China
Tsaesci/Humans- Japan

This is all baseless headcanon on my part.

I suspect that the Tsaesci were based first and foremost off of the http://forgottenrealms.wikia.com/wiki/Yuan-ti, since most of Nirn's races have DnD tropes at their heart, bolstered by Bethesda's (and MK's) own creative vision and the incorporation of real-world cultures. With that said, I'd like for Bethesda to try to steer clear of Chinese mythology if they decide to flesh out the Tsaesci because there's already a hearty dose of Japanese cultural influence there, and otherwise they run the risk of pulling a Mists of Pandaria and just making a generic Asialand that offends some and impresses nobody.
