Alchemy mod has damaged my enchanting

Hi.

I'm not naming the mod as yet, because I have contacted the designer to give them a chance to rectify the problem.

The mod was supposed to extend the time that smithing and enchanting potions lasted. I got it because I struggled to double enchant weapons and armour in the 30 second limit of my homemade potions that are stronger than any bought ones (+36%). The description only mentions the time and that this is affected by alchemy skill level and perks.

The mod worked but the resulting enchantments were significantly weaker than those I achieved before. +88 health fell to +78 health. Both enchantments suffered the same percentage drop in potency. I wear Azhidal's relics to get +10% enchanting and this fell to +5% when using the mod.

I uninstalled the mod but I still cannot enchant as well as I could before because Azhidal's relics have been permanently lowered in their effect to +5%.

Does anybody know of a way to use the console to restore the proper parameter to the relics? If not, I have to undo several hours of gameplay because I first used the mod to add a newly learned set of enchantments to a piece of jewellery. I was not aware of the fall in performance until I added an enchantment that I was familiar with to an item much later...several dungeons and legendary dragons later! I've also scrapped a full set of dragonscale armour and two dragonbone greatswords.

There's a lesson for me. Next time I add a mod I'll experiment with it using scenarios that I know fully, before I use it more widely.

The fault was definitely caused by this mod because it is the only one I have added for a long time and my other mods did not cause this effect.

Not familiar with the mod, but my guess is that you'll need to go back to a save before installing it as the changes are stuck in your saves now.

If you only want to extend the durations of potions, I'd recommend Dynamic Potions, which gives you full control over that and doesn't touch anything else.
